What does your business do to make your community a better place to live?
We are leaders in environmental and social initiatives. Part of the green business challenge based on the David Suzuki model and doing a base line study of the environmental footprint of our business with specif goals of reducing by 2013 and beyond. We support MS Society, SPCA, Hospice, Food Bank, Brain Injury Society and are employing a challenged worker as a further component of our social responsibility

Why have you chosen to take this approach?
As a community we want to reduce our environmental footprint and Total Office wants to contribute to the solution in any possible way including selling products manufactured in Canada by workers being paid a fair wage and contributing to our tax base and social programs. Our business benefits by being a leader in promoting the social welfare of the community and giving back to the community we live in.

What advice would you give other business owners who might be considering this idea?
Yes we would definately recommend promoting environmental ecoonomic and social values in every business. It is in fact the wave of the future
